Export Radios Have NO MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY, with the following exceptions.
The Galaxy "DX" Series Export Radios carry a TWO Year
WARRANTY that covers Factory Defects, but must be
returned directly to Galaxy if any repairs are needed.
Radios by RCI, "Ranger Communications Inc." are covered by
manufacturers warranties, and must be shipped pre-paid
to Ranger USA for any warranty repairs.
Some of the Radios NOT COVERED are
Connex, Superstar, General Series and any of the Emperor, Summerkamp or
Mirage Amateur transceivers. Be sure to verify if you have any
questions about this.
Amplifiers and RF transistors are not covered by any type of warranty.
The Factory warranties may not repair items they deem operator error. This could be anything that could cause damage to the unit, or any unit when done. Like dropped, or jarred bad enough to cause visual damage. Or hooking up the power reversed, transmitting with no or a bad antenna. Oversized fuses in the fuse holder will also void the warranty.
PRICING: Sometimes there are increases, so please confirm
pricing when ordering. All prices and specifications are
subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for
typographical errors or omissions.
COD ORDERS: We No longer take orders to be paid via COD.
This has become necessary due to changes at UPS no longer accepting
CASH on delivery. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause
you. All Orders must be VISA/MC
or prepaid via money order.
DAMAGED ITEMS: If you receive a shipment and discover damage to it, NOTIFY THE CARRIER IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT return merchandise to us until notified to do so by the carrier. Retain all packaging materials including Styrofoam peanuts, inner and outer cartons, labeling, etc. for inspection by the carrier-without this, your claim may be denied. With shipments properly packaged (as all our shipments are), the ultimate responsibility for delivery in good condition rests with the carrier.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS: Defective Items should be returned to the Manufacturer for Warranty Repair or replacement.
RETURNS: In order to maintain lowest possible prices, and due to the fact that Returned items cannot be sold as New Equipment. If permitted, an AUTHORIZED return of merchandise for credit will be subject to a 20% Restocking FEE. Item must be returned in its original like new condition and in it's original packing material WITHIN 10 DAYS, prepaid, with a copy of your purchase invoice and a note describing the reason for return. No returns on antennas, towers, rotors, cable, items drop-shipped from the manufacturer, kits, add in echo boards, roger beep boards, expander kits,any radio modification kit, sound toys, books, component parts, microphones with ear buds, ear bud speakers, or computer software.
